Are radio stations going to be able to give away Miley Cyrus concert tickets?
I have a 6 year old who is dying to go. But with all the fees TicketMaster charges, I just can’t afford to take her. We were hoping to try and win some off the radio (or anywhere else for that matter) but since it’s a paperless tour and you have to show your ID and credit card, will there be any possible way to win tickets?
Listen to your favorite radio stations frequently. Often they give tickets away free if you are the right caller to phone in.
* Do a few test runs on each of your phones to find the one that dials and redials the fastest.
* Pre-program radio station phone numbers, but also see whether it is possible to manually dial faster than speed dial. The more often you dial before somebody wins those tickets, the better the chance it will be you.
* Remember that other radio stations in the area may also be giving away the same concert tickets, so listen at the times they usually give tickets away (often during a particular DJ’s morning or afternoon programs).
# Use your contacts. If you know people in the industry, hints or even outright requests can be effective – both to people in the music business, and also to people in marketing and advertising jobs who get sent freebies.
* Get well known among your friends and co-workers as the person who will take extra tickets off their hands at the last minute. If you send them a thank-you note afterwards and say how much you enjoyed the concert, the next time they have spare tickets, they will think of you!
Hope this helps.
